This event maybe the "Thrilla in Manila" for basketball history in the Philippines, truly Ultimate PBA All-Star Weekend is one of the most biggest and exciting basketball sports event of the year.
The Araneta Coliseum was jam packed with PBA and NBA fans last night to witnessed and be a part of the said event, last night was the first part of PBA All-Star weekend were SMART All-Stars(led by Kobe) played against PBA All-Stars. Today will be the second part of the event SMART All-Stars will play against the Phil. Gilas National Team.
But lets just stick towhat happened last night, the game was dominated by PBA players like Arwind Santos on the first minute of the game they lead over 4 points against the Smat All-Star team. Later on, Kobe and the rest have finally made their adjustment to the environment and begun to dominate and Javale McGee and Kevin Durant dominate the game, McGee took advantage of his towering height and high jumping skills against the opposing team, he really made the crowd go crazy and loud with his wrecking dunks.
If there will be Top 10 game highlights last night, you would agree this highlight will be the Top 1. Kobe assist MVP Rose for an alley opp! Watch the video highlight.
It was a great game, NBA players and PBA players showcase their best skills and made Pinoy basketball fans experience the NBA All-Star experience. The game ended with the final score of 131-105, of course SMART All-Stars won the game.
